As Play Continues, Titleist Remains the Field Favorite Across Worldwide Tours

PGA TOUR: 

Titleist topped the golf ball count with 114 players (73%), more than seven times the nearest competitor (15).

Titleist was also the field favorite in drivers (39/25%), hybrids (22/35%), utility irons (45/49%), irons (52/33%) and wedges (226/51%).

Fast Facts:

Titleist had more than twice as many iron sets (52) than the nearest competitor (24), with the Titleist T100 (20) and 620 MB (16) being the most played models.

There were 226 Vokey Design Wedges in play, more than three times the next most played brand (67).

KORN FERRY TOUR:

Titleist Brand Ambassador Will Zalatoris earned his first career Korn Ferry Tour title with a one-shot win at the TPC Colorado Championship. Zalatoris closed with a 3-under 69 en route to a 15-under 273 victory total. In the four events since the Korn Ferry re-start, Zalatoris has now finished T6-T3-4th-1st and vaulted to the top of the Korn Ferry Tour money list.

Chase Johnson (Pro V1x) finished solo 2nd after racing up the leaderboard with a career-low and course-record-tying 9-under 63, which included 10 birdies. It was just the second Korn Ferry Tour start for Johnson.

It was an all-Titleist Brand Ambassador playoff at the KPGA season-opener where JiHoon Lee 730 converted a birdie putt on the first extra hole to capture the Busan Kyongnam Open. Lee closed with a 9-under par 63 en route to a 21-under par 267 total.

Overnight leader JooHyung Kim (Pro V1xTS3 driver, TS3 fairway metals, T100/AP2 irons, Vokey Design SM8 gap and lob wedges, Scotty Cameron Phantom X6 putter) made an eagle putt on his final hole of regulation to force the playoff in his Korean Tour debut. 

TaeHoon Kim (Pro V1, TS2 driver, TS2 fairway metal, 816H1 hybrid, U500 4-iron, 620 MB irons, Vokey Design SM8 pitching, gap, sand and lob wedges, Scotty Cameron Timeless putter) shared third place with KyongJun Moon (Pro V1x), one shot out of the playoff.

Titleist was the top choice in golf balls (121/77%), drivers (70/44%), fairway metals (86/46%), irons (72/46%), wedges (293/70%) and putters (76/48%) sweeping every major equipment category to start the season.
