Putting on a board weekly. Get the motion down to a science.
  10. This winter I will be working on my putting stroke. I will be working on keeping the putter head straight through impact and following the ball to the hole. I have a habit at stabbing my putter so I will be doing drills to help stop stabbing.

The best drill that I’ve used to prevent stabbing the putter, is to set up four tees that are one putter length from the hole on four sides of the hole. Then putt 5 balls from each tee in a row all the way around. If you miss one, start over. Usually when I miss short putts, it’s because I stab my putter and the ball doesn’t go straight to the hole. This drill also helps with keeping your head down. While doing this drill, I like to just listen for the ball to go in, rather than watching it roll in the cup.

After you make it around the hole at the one putter length, move it back to two-putter lengths and then three.

It is a tough drill that can be time consuming sometimes, but it is a great drill and I always feel like my putting has improved after doing it!

I had some trouble with in-between wedge shots this year, and I just discovered I have enough clearance in my living room to swing a wedge, so...

Hitting practice foam balls into the curtains with wedges it is!
  16. Working on swing consistency and sub-100 yard shots. Trying to get back to consistent scratch level golf!
  17. Chipping. Everyday. All day!
