  1. I’m ready to be disappointed again, lol. Here is to hoping! I think I would actually prefer practice round tickets. For one, i can bring 3 people (4) vs the 2 for main day.

I have never won the lottery, but my cousin found out this winter he has connections that he didn’t realize, so hopefully we take advantage for 2025.

You just never know. I was lucky enough to get 2 Saturday tickets in '23 and my father was lucky enough to get 4 Wednesday tickets this year. Keep trying, tell your friends, and hope for the best!! Good luck everybody!

Keep trying, I put my name in for twenty years and not this past one but last year I got picked and it's everything and more. Just being on the grounds of Augusta National is worth the wait. Quick tip though, If you are lucky enough to go. Buy one of the small chairs they sell and find a good spot, place it and then explore the property. It's truly amazing that you can put your chair in a spot and no one will move it and also you can't sit on the grass there.

I have gotten luck for tickets in 2007. Had a good time. Have not won since.

Hopefully this year will change my string of losses.
  8. Good luck all!

Got my denial email today. Guess I'll try again next year.
  11. I have been in the lottery every year since 2005 and every year I get my rejection email like clockwork. I believe insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result. Oh well, maybe next year... lol

Scott, I live about three hours from August and we use to take our annual trek up to the Masters for the practice rounds and pay our $10.50 to watch the fun days with my buddies. Some of them even had annual passes and I got to go on the weekends. Then after the 1994 Masters it all came to a halt. We were there for the Monday round and it was packed. As we drove back Charleston I casually mentioned that I felt the good old days were over and by golly, the next year they went to the lottery. I understand your pain, have been trying every year as well. Got in once, after going up all these years. Thirty years ago it was so easy and much more affordable. Still have all my passes from all the tournaments at Augusta national. They have special memories of days that were. The secret got out and as the saying goes, they built it and they came. Might add, too many came and it had to be regulated.

After having been and enjoyed the beauty of the course and seeing some of the players up close and getting lots of pictures, love setting at home and watching the tournament. No hassle with driving up there, parking and the crowds in the merchandise tent. Believe me, it was an experience for so many many years. I loved it at the time when I was younger and could walk those sacred grounds with my buddies. And get an occasional speeding ticket in Bamberg for trying to get up there too quickly. Oh the memories of yesteryear. Oh, think I have a better chance of hitting the Powerball then getting tickets to the Masters, if I played the lottery. For those who try every year, best of luck, because the trip there is definitely worth it. It is a Southern tradition.

Anyone get their annual rejection email yet? I haven't seen mine yet. I figured we should be getting them soon.

You can see for yourself by logging into your account, no need to wait for the rejection, lol. I was not selected this year, for either Masters or ANWA.

Keeping the streak alive....14 years straight of getting snubbed. There's always next year right?
  24. Only have 3 letters to respond

    UGH

Here's to next year. But I am not complaining. I've been lucky enough to get practice round tickets (5) times. Just can't get enough of Augusta. It's a "gotta happen" for those who haven't been. There's no feeling like walking in and standing in the middle of #1 and looking UP both ways. It's a killer course to walk. A Killer. But try like crazy to get there.

Now, (and I've done this), there is a chance to get in if you are in the area. I've approached people leaving and asked to buy thier badges. It always works out. I offered a family of 4 $25 for a ticket when they were leaving. The guy offered all 4 for a hundo so I took them. Resold 3 for $50 each within 5 minutes and got in for free plus lunch was paid for. It's worth the shot. Just my $.02

I was excited when I hadn't gotten the email yet but others had. But then I checked the website and faced reality....
