  1. I have been doing this "Sunday Set" challenge trying to figure out the ideal bag setup. Current clubs 3w, 4i, 6i, 8i, PW, 52, 60, Putter

It forces shot shaping which has made me move away from trying to hit every shot perfect.

    3 club choice 7i, 52, Putter.

I’ve done this a couple of times for fun and I’ve done well with a 3 wood, 6 iiron and 50 degree wedge.
  3. Sounds like a fun thing to try tomorrow on the sim. If a shirt 5,800 yard course like that, I’d go 4 h, 7i, and 54.

I think now that I have the GT280. I would go GT280, 6-iron, PW. Mini driver off the tee and off the deck and PW for everything 140 and in, including chip shots, bunkers, and putting. The 6 iron still has decent stopping power for me, and when played back in the stance, gets me enough length to cover any awkward distances as necessary.

Being I play from the senior tees. 17 degree hybrid, nine iron and putter. On our course, the fairways are tight and we can putt off the greens.

Should have said putt off some of the areas of the fairways. Don't know where my brain is sometimes these days.

Would prefer 3 plus putter obv lol

But I’d putt with the 4h 8 iron and 54

Would be interesting to see how high I’d score using a safer approach method
  8. I would use Driver, 7 iron and a 60 degree wedge!

    Hybrid - 7 iron - 56 degree
  10. TS2 Driver, T200 7 Iron, and Scotty Cameron Newport Design Putter.

    I think I'd do 4i, 8i, 60°

can putt with any of those leading edges just fine.

    Sounds like fun!
