For me, similar story... loved the look of the Titleist clubs growing up, but could never afford them. Got my first full set of 835's (and wish I still had them) and slowly built out the bag from there. Now it's a full bag and a lifelong journey with a quality brand that continues to fuel my passion for golf.

My first Titleist was a Scotty Cameron Pro Platinum Newport II back in 2001
After that I got my first Irons 822 OS
Then i got another Cameron, a Studio Design 1.5
And after that my first set of blades 690MB
I've used almost every set of blades, Players Irons, Driver, Fairway Woods, Hybrids...... Cameron Putters...... Vokey Wedges......

Wow, that goes way back. I remember when my father got me a 975D driver with that Speeder shaft in 8th grade to get ready for my high school golf team. My second shot on the course with it wound up at least 20 yards farther than any drive I’d ever hit on that hole.
Funny sidebar, I wound up sleeping with that driver next to my bed that night. I was that excited about finally having a Titleist driver!

DCI 981 Irons that were gifted to me. Played them for a few years. Love those clubs. Hope to get into a set of T200-T350s sooner than later.

2023- My First-Tee Phoenix Coach gave me his old high school clubs: 704 CB's. Haven't looked back since, currently playing GT3, T250 U, 620 MB's, SM10's, and have a few Scottys!

First time using a Balata golf ball in high school. First time I hit it flush, it was a thing of beauty. Unfortunately, as a new golfer, I didn't hit it "flush" all the time, the ball had multiple "smiles" on it. After the round, it didn't look that round. After that, swore i never would play that ball again, switched to a DT, now playing a ProVix, 30 years later.... Been infatuated with all things Titleist since. How says you don't remember your first love!!! Thanks, Titleist, for the memories.....

My first full golf iron set was the DTR (I still see it occasionally since I gifted it to a good friend), 2 thru PW. This was in early 90s and it's been a fun ride.
  8. Started playing Titleist balls over 50 years ago. Had an old bullseye putter but other brands of clubs. Late to the party to Titleist woods and irons but a convert to all Titleist equipment now.

First irons I got my hands on were Titleist Tour Forged from the early 80’s. Were dads clubs. Haven’t hit anything but Titleist blades (except for that one year png Eye came out) since.

2012 Chateau Fairmont course in Whistler I was a guest of a member who rented me clubs since mine were still in Ontario the AP2 best round of my life . Wish I didn’t wait 13 years to get fitted for my own irons
  11. I remember using the old titleist professional 90s balata golf balls. Used to be fun controlling your trajectory in the wind. But using the titleist 990s irons made it easy.

My Dad gave me my first Titleist ball when I was 10. That was over 60 years ago. It took me a month to put it in play because I was nervous I would put a smile it. When I finally put it in play it took three swings to put a smile in that balata cover. Ugh. However, been using Titleist balls ever since.

I bought the Titleist 962 irons and a 975D driver back in the day along with a Gun Blue Cameron Newport the first year they came out.
  14. My love for Titleist started with their short game equipment in the early 2000s. My 1st Titleist club was a Titleist Oil Can Vokey wedge which stayed in the bag for forever and the original Scotty Cameron Futura.
  15. I’ve just started getting into and playing 18 months ago with mates clubs, but a friend who is a golf pro gave me a t200 7iron and I was hooked on titleist instantly.

Been playing with it for 12 months now (old calaway irons for the rest of the bag which have been so good to me) and have bought myself some t250 irons and what a step up they are compared to the t200!

Not dissimilar to the new png i530, but the t250 are the nicest looking club (in my opinion), and the feel and confidence is sublime.

    TT hooked!

The first Titleist club I purchased was the 909 driver and 909 hybrids. This led to the purchase of a set of ZB forged irons, then 915's
driver & fairway wood, followed by a Scotty Newport. ( prior to the Scotty, it was the Bullseye putter.) Recently purchased a set of the T-200's. (fantastic clubs.) Now into the TS clubs.
Driver, fairway & hybrids. I generally give my older clubs away to fellow golfers, hoping to spread the Titleist name.
Will be a Titleist loyalist till I am looking up at the divots. Hopefully still quite aways off!!

Now this is going to date me but here goes. My very first set of Titleist Clubster were stamped Aucshnet. A neighbour gave me a set he found in a garage of a house he bought. I was still in jr high school and left handed he was right handed so he gave me the set of Clubster. Loved the feel and some 50+ years later still playing Titleist.

As an old timer in this group (81), my first interaction with Titleist was purchasing a Bullseye putter in 1968 at the military golf course pro shop in West Berlin, Germany. Used that putter most of the time between then and the 2010's, swapping out with a png Anser when the greens conditions called for a slightly heavier headed putter. I used a variety of golf balls over the years, usually based on cost. Those included the Professional 90 and 100, the DT's (early ones) and then the Pro V1. After I fully retired, I got involved in the FootJoy online Community, and then hooked up with locals who were members of Team Titleist in 2011. Since then I've migrated all my clubs to Titleist and have been fitted for all of the new ones, starting with Vokey SM4s and 712 AP2 irons. Currently playing GT1 D9, GT1 3Tour 14, GT1 21; hybrids TSr1 23, TSr1 26; 2023 T1150 6-P; Vokey SM10 48.10F (bent to 49) , 54.12D, and 60..12D (bent to 59); SC Newport Special Select 2.5; Hybrid 5 bag; Pro V1x. Have been fitted for T250 Tour Spec 6-9, but have not yet been comfortable with them in the bag so I have reverted to my T150 irons.
  19. Growing up my dad played Titleist irons and woods (70's-80's) and to me that was the epitome of excellence. My first experience with Titleist was while in high school when I made the switch to playing the titleist golf balls. I have played Titleist exclusively for the past 25 years, and for the past 10 years I have had an all Titleist bag just like my dad.

It was 2020…I was a TM guy at the time. A buddy of mine let me swing his Titleist driver and 6 iron on the range. After close to 10 swings with the 6i, I knew I hooked. The difference in the “butter” feeling at contact between my TM and his Titleist was night and day. Within 2 months, I made an entire bag swap and never looked back. The confidence playing elite clubs made a solid difference in my game as well. My friend sharing a few swings was the easiest sell Titleist ever made Cheers!
