I have used my 58 K Grind Low Bounce for 5 rounds now and it is great. I have used it from various lies and bunkers and it's amazing. Regardless of your skill level, you should give these wedges a look.

Have tried to like them, and bought one twice over the last few years... great around the greens and bunkers, but just not good on full shots. Ball wants to ride the face too much for me. Sticking to my V grind for now.

Are we talking about the same club? The K Grind 6 degree just recently came out for sale.

Yes. Not enough bounce for me on full shots. Wants to stay in the ground too long on full shots, especially on softer lies. It's just part of my swing, but I need more effective bounce on that leading edge to get through grainy Bermuda.

The low bounce K grind has been available through wedgeworks for many years.
  6. Interesting to hear both sides. I’ve been on the fence about trying the K Grind Low Bounce - sounds like it’s amazing in bunkers but not as versatile for full shots depending on your swing. Might still give it a shot just for short game control, though. Appreciate all the feedback here!

I have a 58 K and I love it for chip shots on our tight lie areas close to the green. Good out of greenside bunkers as well

I got a 60 degree this year and really like it for chipping, bunker shots and short pitch shots. I will say it’s not optimal for me for full swing but I hardly am ever in a situation where I need to swing a 60 full out

I’m just starting in golf, so a lot of the technical stuff still confuses me — like all these grind and bounce options. But it’s exciting to read your feedback. Sounds like that 58 K Grind Low Bounce is a solid choice, especially if it performs well from different lies and bunkers. I haven’t tried anything that specific yet, but I’ll definitely keep it in mind as I learn more and start building my own set.

If it helps, I was in the same spot when I first started, all the grind/bounce stuff feels like a different language at the beginning. Once you get a bit more time on the course, it all starts to click. The 58 K Grind is actually a pretty forgiving option, especially from softer lies and bunkers, so it’s not a bad one to keep on your radar while you’re figuring out what fits your swing. No rush to buy anything yet, testing a few wedges as you go will tell you more than any chart ever will.
