MBs or CBs, Project X shaft ?

    I am 17 with a +3.2 handicap(sub-par), and currently play the 710 AP2 with Nippon NS Pro 970 shafts. I need to get new irons as mine are very worn in the centers. I hit my 7 iron about 160-165 yards. I am curious to which irons i should purchase and which project x shaft i should use, 6.0 or 6.5s? Thanks!

    Driver: 910 D2, Fujikura Rombax Shaft S flex. C3 setting(Left handed)
    3 wood : 910 Fairway wood C3 setting
    3 Hybrid : 910 19 Degree D4 setting
    Irons : AP2 910, Nippon NS 970 Pro
    Wedges : 50, 52, 56 degrees.
    Putter : Scotty Cameron Newport 2

    With that 7 iron distance, definitely go for the 6.0's, not 6.5's. I play 6.5's in my ap2's and they are a lot of shaft to handle. Many people order project x's too stiff and have a very bad experience. In my opinion, the 6.0's should be plenty stiff for you.

    I currently play the 710 AP2's with 6.0's.  My 7 iron distance is 175-180.  Would you go to 6.5's in a new set?
