For us, amateur golfers, we do have our Grand Slam ... in 4 steps. - Fisrt, an eagle on a par 5 ... the most easier to do ... a great drive, a good second shot, and a nice putt to finish the first step of the Grand Slam. - Secondly, an eagle on a par 4 without putting . . . no so easy, but an enormous drive can offer you a small approach to finish the job, or a marvellous second shot which finish in the hole, and you have accomplished the second step. - In third position, an eagle on a par 4 with a putt . . . for this, you need a perfect drive, on a short par 4, or on a dogleg hole, or a windy day . . . and then you have to hole your putt, not so easy, but sometime you know that THE day is there and you can hole it... - Last but not least, HOLE in ONE ... so great, so amazing. Everybody here can describe the strange feeling you have when you take the ball in the hole after holed it .. so great. Of course you can do your Grand Slam in another order, and begin it with a hole in one, it would be easier to finish it before end of your life ... Fo myself, my second hole in one, but first with a Titleist ball, (Pro V1) was at Gap Golf Course, in south of France, hole number 13. A uphill hole, 150 yd, rainy day, 8 iron AP2 and a great shot ... and the green have the shape of a bowl. Flag just in the middle. Arriving on the green, only one ball, not mine so ... only 2 solutions ... a dog stole it, or the ball is in ... The second solution was the good one ... so great. I wish for all of you to finish the Grand Slam ... with a Titleist ball of course ... Cordially From France Nicolas
