Par 4 Hole in 1 - Albatross

I was playing in a memorial outing with groups of alumni and friends at Pebble Creek GC in CIncinnati. It was a shotgun and my group had played 17 holes. We stepped up to our final hole, #5 - a 292 yard Par 4. I stepped up last in our group and teed up my Titleist. I knew that I hit the drive pure and I knew it was tracking towards the green along the slight dog leg right. I saw the group in front of mine (who had just finished the hole and were waiting of to the side) looking excited, however I thought they were upset thinking I had hit into them. As we got closer to the group, I could tell that it wasn't anger on their face but joy. They were shouting that the ball had went into the hole. The shot had landed in the left side of the fairway, bounced onto the fringe and rolled to the back right pin placement and dropped into the cup. It was an awesome experience to be able to have my first hole in one with a great group of witnesses. I have always used Titleist balls and have no plans to switch now. Thanks for being part of my hole in 1 on par 4. Albatross!
