Gamer’s or Wedge Design?!? What are you all playing and why?

    Having a fun debate and curious to see what you all are utilizing and why?

    I’ll start. I have my gamer shafts in my wedges. Playing SM8 52, 56, 60 Jet Blacks with KBS C-Taper+ and love it. Love it so much considering doing the SM9 in the same setup as the season winds down in prep for next year.

    Understand old and slow…. I have the Fubuki light wt graphite shafts in my irons. I almost never take a full swing with a wedge. I went with a heavier TT AMT Red shaft, because I like the feel. Need to be more precise with the wedge to utilize the bounce better. I have the T300 48 but the workhorse is a 50 Vokey.

    Am playing with 2019 T300 irons with TT Amt Ret 105-95g R300 steel shafts. Have the same shafts in my two SM9 Vokey 52.08F and 56.10S wedges. My instructor has me taking a full back swing at about 80% to ensure that I do not ***** the ball, which I have tendency to do when trying to lay off with my wedges. He works with me to ensure that I take the club back and make good contact with the wedges. The 95g shafts on my wedges work well for me.
