SM6 Shaft Length Question.

    I have SM6 56 degree that needs to be reshafted. I know the standard length of a sand wedge is 35.25, but that is including the club head. Does anyone know the actual length of just the shaft that would get me to the original length of 35.25?

    Yes, it includes the clubhead....

    If you purchase a Wedge Shaft in your manufacurer of choice it will not come pre-cut...thus you can install it (or have someone install it for you) then cut to desired length on the butt end.

    The club length is measured from the butt to the ground so the actual length of the cut shaft will depend upon the length from the bottom of the bore to the ground - without this measurement your question can't be answered- in addition there will be manufacturing variances that will change the "bottom of bore to ground" measurement.

    Chris's advise is the correct/only way to go!!

    I would put a KBS shaft in. If you order them on their website and click ship to them on checkout, they will call you for a consultation. They will build the club to your specs.
