Definitely would like to see Torrey! Just played the North Course since the redo, moved to Oahu as it was being done. Also got to play Bandon during that move to Oahu and it would be awesome to have it there as well! hopefully I can participate now that I am back on the mainland after being stationed in HI for the past three years!

Being from Michigan, is love to see Arcadia Bluffs make the list. Plus, I’d be happy to entertain a few rounds at my club for early arrivals. Just sayin.
  4. Tree Tops would be nice also with the different courses and the Par3. Everything is pretty much on site there.

How many people usually show for these events? Sounds like a good time.

It sells out almost immediately after the reservation window opens up. I am not sure how many spots there are, maybe 60-80? They have to keep it at a manageable number.

Pinehurst would be a great spot as well !!

Looking at the trajectory of Hurricane Michael, I'd vote for anywhere outside the SE to avoid torrential rains. The last 3 invitationals have skirted or been hit with rain, and now Kiawah should be getting rain from another hurricane before this weekend. I'd love to show off Kohler - Erin Hills - Sand Valley but willing to leave Wisconsin.
  10. Big Ceader Lodge would be GREAT ...It would give people in the Midwest an opportunity to attend a TT event that quite often can't because of traveling distance...

Chambers bay. I know that it received a lot of negative comments when the open was played there but it’s a great course when they keep it watered. ;) The Cour de Lane golf course would be another great one.

Needs to have 2 or more courses to cover the two-day event and lodging. Needs to have easy access to airports and good fall weather. Also needs to be a resort that has ties to Titleist (most courses have relationships with manufacturers for range balls, rentals, pro shop merchandise, etc.). Other than that, any of the many great options listed above would be great. Just keep having them!
  13. Hi Guys

Any room for a couple of Brits??
We have just attended the first TT event at Turnberry in Scotland and it was top class
The Titleist guys said that the event format was based on the US events and we would like to sample it first hand

So if you would like to have a chuckle at two English guys scratching around one of your top courses we would be delighted to join you

    Kind Regards
    Geoff

Spots sold out the first day. Keep an eye out next year around April for info and maybe you can get in to that one. Good luck.

    Play well

Great suggestion, love Ballyhack as long as it's not in the Summer.

I selfishly vote for Midwest option next year! I like the idea of a Championship venue. I agree all of the TT events are top notch and recommend to anyone on the fence to go for it next year when they open registration!

Follow the forums, there can be an announcement in advance of "the day". Follow other social media outlets as well on "the day". That night may be too late - there is only about 80 spots for the entire US (18 holes x 4 players with some double tees). Be prepared to commit time and money. The packages are value-priced at top resorts but have still been in excess of a grand per person not including transportation and the days are during the week and not over a weekend. If you want to come with a bud or 3, y'all need the same commitment ready.

Wherever it is, it'll be hard to equal this year's event. The Tuesday night event at Mingo Point was a great event as we got mingle and meet a lot of the folks from the all over the place. Add that to the golf and Michael Breed's clinic and it was an awesome event.

Barring any setback, i'll be wherever it is next year.

Definitely on point awaiting the information. Such a great event with great folks.
  26. My vote would have to be for either Colbert Hills in Manhattan KS or Arbor Links in Nebraska City NE especially Arbor Links considering it was designed by Arnold Palmer.
