You'll have to return it to the vendor you purchased it from, they'll try a warranty approach. Hate to say it, this equipment we buy, regardless of who's name is on it, isn't perfect, regardless of opinions. They're all finished, sometimes in a rush, often not adhering to quality control. I went through an issue with the scoring line on a putter, it was obviously off significantly, threw it in the dumpster when I got it back. Assembly line issues happen. Good luck!

Stainless steel will oxidize like other metals. I work in the metals industry and have had issues in the past where customers ask about oxidation or rust on stainless products. To remove the oxidation, take a scotch brite pad (3M makes a pad especially for stainless), or maybe even a common rag, and rub very lightly and gently to remove the oxidation. If you cannot remove the oxidation with gentle rubbing, you can use a combination of water and baking soda, but again be very gentle so you do not change the appearance. I would not use a metal polish as you do not want to change the appearance.

My new Super Select Squareback also has a little oxidation which wasn't as noticable as yours. I used a Q-tip and it worked.

I would definitely return it to the place of purchase. For what these cost, I'm shocked this would happen. Good luck

Have you made an attempt to remove some of those spots? In the picture I notice some scratches that could be come from rubbing with something brittle. Just asking.

I only rubbed it with a towel and some water. I think those are more smears than scratches in the photo.

Stainless is not considered rust proof. Keep it clean and dry. I put a dab of gun oil on mine after cleaning. Don't know if it is a good solution, but so far no marks or pitting.
