On July 27, 2026, I checked off a lifelong golfing dream by making my first-ever hole-in-one while playing in our SAPS League at Heron Lakes Golf Club on the Greenback Course.

The ace came on the 14th hole, a 167-yard par 3. I pulled my BombTech 8-iron and teed up a Titleist TruFeel, hoping to put a good swing on it. The shot came off exactly the way I wanted—high, straight, and tracking right at the flag. Everyone in our group watched as it landed on the green, took a couple of bounces, rolled toward the cup, and then disappeared.

For a few seconds we couldn't believe what we'd just seen. Walking up to the green, the excitement kept building until we looked into the hole and there it was. My first hole-in-one.

It's a moment I'll never forget, and I'm especially happy that it happened while playing with friends in our SAPS League. Knowing it was made with a Titleist TruFeel golf ball and my BombTech 8-iron makes the memory even more special. Both the ball and club performed perfectly when it mattered most.

This is a golfing memory I'll treasure for the rest of my life.
