I was playing in a charity scramble where a got a hole in one. I hit the shot and watched the ball flying on the line I wanted. The ball landed and started rolling, it was tracking towards the pin… tracking, tracking, then it disappeared! We all started cheering when one of my friends says “you just won a car!”. Instantly the cheering turned into yelling and hugging. It just so happened that the tourney organizer was playing in the group ahead. He ran towards the hole, looked down then looked back at us and gave us the baseball safe sign. The mood changed. Then changed the sign to TOUCHDOWN!!!. The cheers and yells could be heard all over the course now. We drove up to the green and walked towards the hole with camera phones rolling - the ball was definitely in the hole. By this point, the group behind had joined us on the green for the hugs and most importantly the group picture. Word had gotten around the course and people kept sending us drinks. We barely finished the round and the party continued all night!
