Playing in our ladies 666 competition at Ipswich Golf Club, we approached hole 6, a long Par three 158 yards. It’s s still day (very little wind) so I decided to go with my Snake Eyes Driver…. I knew I had hit a nice shot as I and my fellow players watched the ball roll up onto the green. As this is an elevated green we could not see the end of the shot but assumed it was going to be nearish to the hole.

As we approached the green I was saddened as I could not see my ball, I assumed I had dropped into the bunker at the back. I took a look in the bunker but could see no ball, I then assumed I had gone through the back of the green into the rough. After another brief search I again could not see my ball ‘oh well’ I thought I will just check the hole!!

To my great surprise there nestled my ball. It was truly a great feeling as I have only been ar this club for just over a year and never imagined I would achieve a hole in one on this course.
