I finally got my first hole in one after 74 years of playing golf. It was on number 5 of our Green Valley Country Club course. The hole measures 133 yards from the white tees and with the cold air and wind I felt a 140 yard shot with my Seven wood would work. And, it did. The shot was witnessed by 9 of our Eagle golf group. Each Eagle can contribute $150 to our hole in one fund. 22 Eagles had so contributed so I received $3,300 and now have to have a dinner party for the 22 Eagles.
