I’m 70 and I finally got my first hole in one on December 8th at the Habitat golf course at Valkaria in Brevard County Florida. We had to deal with a front going thru the area just hoping we could get the round on. We have a group of retired guys who play three times a week. One hole #11 we had a shot of 142 uphill over a small pond with the wind blowing pretty strong from left to right. I hot first in our foursome. I used a 4 iron and the shot hit the green and rolled toward the flag, however we can’t see the bottom of the flag from the tee box. We figured the ball rolled off the backside. Another guy hit a similar shot but was he was further right. When we got to the green i saw a ball long off the backside but there was only one. One guy said maybe its in a hole meaning behind the green. I went by the green just to check the hole and there it was. Of course I had to buy drinks after the round. The club will add my name to the hole in one plaque hanging in the clubhouse.
