I started taking golf seriously during the 2020 shutdown. Hit my first ACE (121y) that year. Some jerk stole my new golf clubs including my P wedge used for my first ACE. Busted out my old set, and hit my second ACE in tournament 161y 7i pic attached, and this is my favorite ACE because it went straight in with the group ahead waving us up, so I had to buy a lot of drinks and was given the name ACE. My third ACE was 109y with my 50 Volkey 12F spun it back into the cup. My 4th (133y) and 5th (102y) ACES were 4 weeks apart, and the 5th ACE was with my 54 Volkey 14F. 5 ACES in 3 years all witnessed by multiple other golfers and two cart girls.

Feels like I’m in a drought as it’s almost two years since my last ACE, but I’ll get another one soon, God willing.

For anyone wondering; my name is “ACE”. Not “scratch”. At the most I only played 18-36 holes per week and I do not take practice swings.

The major change I made that started my run with being the most accurate golfer: 10 finger grip like the late great Moe Norman. Anyone who doesn’t use the 10 finger grip must enjoy feeling out of control.
