I played in a scramble on 9/9/25.  It was a shotgun start, and we tee off on the 16th hole.  We eventually rolled up to hole number 3 which was a 180yrd par three. It was also the hole that you could win a car (Chevy Terrian AT4) if you hit a hole- in-one.  I was the second to tee off and dropped my Titleist ball (I do not use a tee on par three holes) in the grass between the tee markers and swung my 5 iron.  (Titleist Pro V1 is by far my favorite ball to hit) The ball was heading straight at the flag.  I saw the ball hit the green, but due to the sun no one saw it afterwards.  The next player was getting ready to hit when the guy in my foursome stated, I think that may have gone in.  I said "no way, I saw it hit the green, but I'm sure it didn't go in."  The other two players said they could not see a ball on the green, but again due to the sun it was hard to tell.  We asked the two spotters working the hole-in-one contest to go down to the green to confirm if it indeed went in the hole.  They walked to the green and walk to the flag and after a few seconds of disbelief, they raised their hands and yelled " it's a hole-in-one."  Needless to say, I along with the three other players were jumping up and down and giving high fives.  Thirty seconds later the beverage cart stopped by and I bought shots for everyone!  So for my first hole-in-one I also received a free car. Doesn't get much better.
