  1. I was playing in the final round of the LPGA Amateurs Championship Open at the Pfau Course at Indiana University. As a Purdue University graduate, a hole-in-one at IU was ironic. It was uphill hole #7 with a head wind and a back pin. Only a small portion of the flag was visible. I took extra club and played the ball right as my ball had moved right to left on the previous day. Another player in my group also playing a yellow ball and I both thought we hit too far right off the tee. She was happy to find her ball on the fringe and not in the traps or weeds. Before searching the sand, I decided to look left and long for my ball. I was ecstatic to see the yellow ball in the hole - amazed. I screamed. It was my first official HOLE-IN-ONE. It was so special. A wonderful experience to celebrate with my friends, playing partners and LPGA Amateurs Staff. Great memories!
