On June 17 2025 I was playing in the Ray Cordts Memorial tournament for work at Newton Country Club in Newton, NJ. It was on the 17th hole a 150 yard Par 3. I grabbed my Titelist Pro V1x Red #3 ball and 9 iron and hit this perfect draw from left to right directly towards the pin. There was a huge bunker right in front of the green so I couldn't see my ball land but knew it was the perfect shot. There were banking employees that were officiating each of the Par 3s to see who could get the closest to the pin.
About 10 seconds after I hit the shot they yelled it went in, it went in. I immediately started jumping for joy with emotion and excitement. When I got up to the green the staff explained to me that the ball hit a foot beside the hole, jumped about 3 feet past and sucked right back into the cup. It's definitely a shame that I didn't see the ball go in but was so happy that it was during a tournament where other people could see it happen!!! We ended up winning the tournament!!! An incredible day that will never be forgotten!
