  1. On 05/17/21 an early Monday morning (for me) at 8:40am I set out to play the funky 18 hole course Scholl Canyon in Glendale. I used to play there as a kid and even went to camp and took lessons from the now highly sought out teacher Rick Sessinghaus (Collin Morikawa). I’ve been playing for 20 or more years and have never gotten a hole in one. I’ve sniffed a few but nothing ever dropped. Today on #7, in my group of three, I got ready for the short but strangely awkward par 3. The tees were up but the flag was blue and in the back. The weather was wet and about 68 degrees. I put my ProV1 down on a nice piece of grass (no tee) and proceeded to hit a lower ball flight than I intended with my 60degree. The ball came out fast and a tad low. But straight it was. My buddy said something similar to “sit” or “easy” thinking it would sail the green; but to our surprise the ball took a bounce or two and rolled right into the “upside down” cup. They flipped the cups upside down due to the corona virus so we were even more surprised when it stayed in the hole. I was in shock and screamed and danced around... After calming down, I followed suit and took all the photos, videos and whatever proof I could of this lifetime achievement. It was a truly special morning on a very short and awkward hole. I must say that my ProV1 and favorite Vokey wedge came through for me and got me my first ever hole in one. I finished the round 2 over and shot a 62. All in all it was a great morning and truly memorable experience.
