Now someone has a TT divot tool on Ebay listed for 99 bucks. Get real. This is totally uncalled for. Most of us would enjoy these things yet some enjoy the profit. Please dont tell me someone else needs xmas funds. Not a good excuse. Really dont like to continue these post but everyone needs to know this.

Unfortunately, some people don't value TT swag as much as others and just try to sell it instead of using it to represent TT proudly. Truly a shame to see

I value my TT gear why people would sell it ridiculous. Been trying to replace my black t t hat that got destroyed.
  5. Proudly display my TT gear!! I’m often on EBay and when I see this, I message the seller what a scum he is. I know a lot of other members would cherish these items.

I think its important to keep repeating myself. Maybe some will think twice before attempting. Although some are just selling through Ebay stores.

    Hi #TeamTitleist,
Happy new year and may the best come true in 2019.
I've some bad news to annouce and I hope to prevent TeamTitleist members in the same matter.

I know some Team Titleist stuff is for sale on eBay.
I got a 9 year old standing by my golfbag the other day pointing at that fantastic looking #TeamTitleist bag tag. He asked if he could take it from me. I said no, but when the youngster came back to me 30 minutes later he found the item on eBay for 40 USD. But guess what he didn't knew how to buy it.

I thought let's buy this one for the little kid so he can be "happy camper" on the course. Turns out.. that the seller David Leininger takes photo's of this Facebook page from Bag tag's previoulsy owned. Creating advertisements on eBay and right after payment he sent out this item is no longer available anylonger. After that he points to ebay & paypal regarding refunds. How sick can this be?

Please guys, watch out for David Leininger, he puts fake eBay advertisements and let you pay for it.

I lost my 40 USD and I still got a 9 year old crying on the course. And all that for 1 bag tag.....

Guys, watch out for this David Leininger.

  13. I just got the new AP1s and am a new TT member, but I don’t have any TT swag yet.... saddest part is, I have already started looking for it and have seen a lot of sellers. I want a hat so bad that I’d be willing to buy it. I know the sellers can’t sell of the buyers don’t buy, but how else can I I represent without making a purchase? How do I get TT swag to represent?!?

Part of what makes it personally valuable is to know that is was limited and gifted to us by the Titleist staff. It's like all the folks wearing Masters hats and shirts but they have never been to the tournament. Keep watching the TT posts for the occasional opportunity to purchase items and stay active in posts for the occasional surprise in the mailbox.
  15. I've always said, since I started golfing, that I would swing nothing but Titleist if I could.... now I can and i wanna rep it!

Will do! And I promise I wont be one of these guys selling them on ebay! Really pumped to represent and be a part of the TT community

If you carefully read the initial post. He does not have any, it is a scam. He takes your money and sends you nothing. He is taking pictures and posting them as merchandise. Buyer beware on eBay.....

Great responses. I understand it's hard to pass when you really want the item but be patient. But TT can only do so much. These are great people and very helpful.

    Chuck,
I read the ebay listing and I did not see where it indicates a scam. He has a number of positive reviews.

I would never sell my TT items. I am just grateful to be on this forum and to be a part of Team Titleist.

Just an opinion, but this has the sound of a scam to me, based on what happened to the writer above. Once you sign up for a bag tag you can not get more than one tag, based on your personal information in the TT system. How does he get multiple bag tags. Quote the writer of the incident:

"Turns out.. that the seller David Leininger takes photo's of this Facebook page from Bag tag's previoulsy owned. Creating advertisements on eBay and right after payment he sent out this item is no longer available anylonger. After that he points to ebay & paypal regarding refunds. How sick can this be?

  25. That is horrible that the guy is scamming people over TT merchandise. I love mine, and would never sell any of mine. I proudly display anything that they give me.

I understand there is a special place for people like those sellers.
  27. I love my Titleist gear and display it proudly just disappointed I lost my bag tag on a course and probably will never get it back just wish there was a way to get a new one I just don't trust ebay do to scammers like the one shown above its not right. This is no excuse but I do know that there are people who sign up just to get the merchandise then turn around and sell it just like those autograph hunters at PGA tour events just trying to make a quick buck and ruin things for the rest of us
