Today, February 18th, I bought a Vokey SM11 54 degree D grind based on swing which tends to get more steep with wedges. Team Members, what are your reasons for choosing the particular grinds of your wedges and how were you able to determine which grind was best for you?

I too just received my Raw SM11 54° F, with a Project X 6.5. I went with just one to see if I liked it before rounding out the compliment. I went with the F grind after some personal tests and knowing that I would use it mostly on full shots, the F grind is uber forgiving for those “fuller” swings and the goal is go get better dispersion in that 70-100 yard range. My current 54° is a M grind, which is fantastic around the greens but I struggled with a bit on longer shots.

Initial Thoughts: The fit and finish, and head shape is by far my favorite out of most of the past renditions. I am a huge fan of the SM6. Having a SM6 and SM9 in the bag I was due for an update. The 7 and 8 were demoed, as well as the 10, but several factors led to me waiting.

My bag fell over in some stout wind and the wedge has a nice beauty mark which is kind of irritating, but adds to the character.
