  1. I have a son that is 12 years old with a swing speed of 75mph for his 7 irons and going 130-140 if struck well. Hits his driver 170-180 with a swing speed of 180. May someone recommend me some clubs?

One consideration is if/when he is due for a growth spirt. My grandson will be 14 in January and has grown 7 inches in the last year. Fortunately for his dad, he is fully into lacrosse and doesn’t need sport specific gear to use. Sure, shoes, etc.

At his club head speeds and distances, he is likely ready to go to an actual “adult” fitting. It doesn’t sound like shortened junior clubs will fit his game. The only question is if he would need a whole new bag in 2 years due to growth. Courses that offer excellent junior programs and also support Titleist equipment should be good starting places.

Unfortunately, we are loyalists, just like yourself, and do not want to give bad advice. We can make recommendations what is "best for us", but we would prefer to direct you to a fitter or club pro for advice. They have the experience and knowledge to look at his swing and advise you. At his age you want to get him off on the right foot. Let's get him going in the right direction. Hope this helps. Welcome to Team Titleist.
