    I wanted to know if the Project X LZ Graphite shafts have been tested & approved by Titleist yet? I know that my 716 AP2's are .370 tip diameter but the PX shafts are taper tip (.355) Can they still be installed? Would they have to be shimmed in order to fit? Will I see a playability difference in taper vs parallel shafts?

    Hi Chris,

    At this time Project X LZ graphite shafts have not been tested by our R&D team. We might consider offering them in the future if enough demand arises, but there is no time table for that decision.

    All of our modern irons and wedges utilize .355 taper tip shafts so you would not need to shim or trim the shafts.
