  1. hi i am located in a remote location of canada and no where near a fitting center unfortunately. i am in the process of ordering some t100 irons 4-pw right now i am using 716 ap1 irons 5-pw i understand the loft differences. t100 4iron is pretty much my ap1 5 iron. where i am lacking is the gap between my 4/5 iron (24degree) and my 21degree hybrid. my hybrid has quite a bit more distance then my iron. should i carry a 23degree hybrid?

Have you trialed the T-100? The rough equivalent to the AP-1 is the T-300, and the T-100 is the fully forged equivalent to the AP2. That is a significant drop in the launch, distance, and forgiveness from the AP-1. That said, the 816 and newer hybrids can be increased in loft by up to 2 degrees from the base A-1 setting. You can make adjustments and then decide to add a different loft hybrid to better fill a distance gap if the hosel adjustment doesn't get you there.

Thru my fitter, I purchased the 818 21* hybrid and set it at A-4 which increases the loft to 22.5* which works for me. My irons run 5-PW. This is that next club up I needed or a very strong 4 iron. Love the loft and the accuracy. With the 21* it will give you some flexibility on the lofts (20.25*, 21.0*, 21.75*, 22.50*). My recommendations based on experience. Cheers.
