Last year I was shooting in the high 100's, I didn't care much I was just going out for fun. End of the season last year I decided to get new shafts for all clubs, I went with really stiff shafts. This helped me get into the low 100's consistently. This February I changed my grips and I think that was the cause of my issues. I went with midsize grips and I am not hitting the ball straighter and cleaner. I am not shooting low 90's, almost had 2 rounds in the 80's but blew it with excitement. I think I will break 90 before this season is over, fingers crossed.

Congrats. Keep on working on it and the 80’s will come. I recently broke 90. After being in the mid to high 90’s. it’s just going with what works.

Great progress. I know its a lot more fun when you finish a round and don't feel like the course just beat you up. Sounds like you are dialing in your equipment, might now consider getting a PGA teaching pro to help you ensure your fundamentals are sound. Enjoy and have fun!
