    It spossible but this will change weighting of the clubthus affecting the flight, spin, etc. You may get the distance you desire but it may come at other costs. Any though of bending it down a degree?

    I have an older one and have replaced the battery 5 times now with now problem. It's all plastic so maybe at some point the cover was over-tightened and snapped a few threads. Just my 2 cents worth

    Stick with the old set. Even if the new ones show up early, you're gonna want to get out and play a bunch to get comfortable with them.
    New clubs aren't going to play exactly like your old ones. Otherwise there would be no reason to get new ones…
