    Crystal Lake Golf Course, ninth hole, 155 yards using a Titleist T300 seven iron. Hit it stiff and rolled 18” into the hole.

    Dude - you're an animal!!!
    Modern drivers are designed to provide the maximum flex allowed. With that, they are going to sacrifice longevity. Also, the worst balls to hit with a driver are range balls. That's the fastest way to wear one out.

    This may be a dumb qusrion, but can water get rhrough the hole in the top of the grip when washing them? For years I have be putting a tee in the top as a precaution, but it may not be necessary and just a waste of timeâ€Ķ

    Lots of water and Gatorade or Nuum. I also use RX Bars as a snack. No more hot dogs before or during the round.
