Writing 1 On Your Score Card is Weird

This was my first hole in one ever. I have been playing golf since I was seven and now am twenty-five.

My hole out happened on the 13th hole of a golf tournament for my father in-law's friend who past away. The hole was a slight dog leg left and the green was not visible. I told my team I wanted to hit a slight fade (I'm a lefty) around the corner to and get it close to give us a chance at birdie.

I hit a perfect drive exactly where I wanted to. As I started to walk off the tee, the group in front of us who were out of sight started screaming. I thought "oh Sh**, I hit someone".

I saw the group in front run out in the fairway and start jumping up and down and screaming. As we approached in our carts, the ranger stopped us. He asked, "who hit that shot". I stated, "I did". He replied, "its in the hole"!

I couldn't believe it, we all started cheering and high-fiving. As I approached the green and walked up to hole, sure enough, there it was Titleist Pro V1 #2 in the hole.

The group that was in front of us said the saw the hole thing. The were just walking off the green and heard the ball land and quickly turned around. My ball landed in the rough about 5 yards from the green, bounced over a trap landed on the fringe and rolled towards the pin hitting it dead straight and falling in. They said it was the most amazing shot they have ever seen.

The crazy part of the story was that this was a 341 yard par 4! I hoped someday I would get a hole-in-one, but never imagined it would be on a par 4.
