I was playing in a tournament sponsored by Metrolina Christian Academy. We played Stonebridge golf club in Monroe, NC. On hole 17, a 171 yard par three, against a 25 mph wind, I hit a five wood that was very high, (I hit my shots very high) with a little draw and the ball hit very softly and rolled in to the heart of the cup. With the hole in one I won a 2016 Buick Verano from Griffin Buick In Monroe, NC. It was my first hole in one and I am 62 years old. I hit a Titleist 7 golf ball and have it mounted on a plaque with my certificate, score card, and picture of the vehicle. It was an awesome experience and I will always remember my first hole in one.
