January 27, 2019. Los Verdes hole #5, 134 yards. We were all talking about our previous holes-in-one while waiting our turn. I just had my second on November 8, 2018. My friend had hers on this very hole a while back. I admired her for that because it’s a difficult shot over a sand trap on a steep right to left hill. At the tee box, I visualized the draw and a long roll due to the fast greens. Honestly, I didn’t imagine it going in the hole. Just too hard of a shot. And we were just talking about it. It couldn’t happen again. Could it? I nailed the draw with my 7-iron. Cleared the sand. Perfect landing. Perfect roll. Perfect sound of the (ProV1) ball hitting the stick and dropping in.
