After playing golf for 58 years, since I was 13, I had my first HOLE IN ONE on #2 at the Governors Club in Brentwood, TN. A 7 iron into a 1 club wind on a downhill 144 yard hole, while playing with 3 friends as my witnesses. The best part was that it was a beautiful shot, with perfect ball flight, which landed about 5 years in front of the hole and rolled directly in. I knew it would be close as it rolled towards the hole, but then it just disappeared. What a wonderful moment, especially that I got to share it with friends.
