Our last Friday night league outing at Wallkill Golf Club and me and my partner are in 1st place - playing the second place team. After a bad start we get to the 11th hole par 3 - we just lost the first hole so we were up next. The first shot by the other team was on the green 7 feet roughly from the pin - his partner gets up and hits one about 10 feet from the pin. Now I'm up going oh boy - I need to hit a good shot. I hit my 8 iron and its going right to the pin and I know its going to be good but couldn't see over the lip of the green side bunker. When I got out of the cart to look - I didn't see my ball on the green and immediately started to smile as I know it didn't roll by the pin or I would have seen it. Ran right to the hole and yelled out yeeessss! The group ahead of us said they were going to start running the tab in the club room. I then put that ball away - pulled out another Pro V1x - birdied the next hole and finished with a 38 for 9 holes - and we won the championship!
