We were playing in a best ball tournament on September 22nd at Graysburg Hills Golf Course on Knobs Nine in Chuckey Tennessee.On the fifth hole Larry Newsom hit the first shot on the green.I was the next player up and hit an 8 iron.The ball hit the flag stick and we never saw it after that until we found it in the hole! The Three guys that I was playing with felt like we would either find the ball in the sand trap or the hole.Miraculously it was in the hole!Jim Link, Eddie Streetman ,Larry Newsom and I won third place in the tournament.I don't play golf many times per year so the shot was very unexpected .It was a fun day of golf and I will hopefully play more in the future.They say an occasional good shot will make you come back for more.
