I've been a member of Gowanie Golf Club, in Mount Clemens Michigan, for over 8 years now and have been struggling with my irons recently on the tee box. This day I ask my golfing partner (Tommy) for a tip on my stance and tee height on hole #9, a 167 yard par 3.

I tell Tommy I haven't hit this green all year as I pull out my 6 iron. I approach the ball as he instructed me and took one of the smoothest swings of the day. The ball felt good off the tee as it hits the green, bounces once on the right edge, then gently rolls left into the hole!

Tommy says hole in one...I say no way, it must be behind the pin. As we drive up to the green and walk up to the pin....UNBELIEVABLE, there lies my TITLEIST!
