I started playing Titleist golf balls 20 years ago. At the the time it was HP 2-100s. I scored two hole in ones a week apart In July of 1998. This morning I go to my favorite walking course, a nine hole executive named Pope’s Grove. The flag was out, so the manager rode out to set the pin and remarked “Now you have a target for your hole in one!” Didn’t happen...but on the second hole, a nice wedge, a bounce, and it disappeared. At 71, my vision isn’t perfect, so I walked around the green—no ball...it was in the hole! The manager attested my good fortune, and the 6th of July joins the 2nd and 9th as my Titleist hole in one days.
