A bucket list buddy trip to Scotland finally happened, and on our last day, I was fortunate enough to get my first hole-in-on at Royal Troon on Alton, the 14th hole. Into a steady 45-50 MPH wind, I had to to hit a 3-Hybrid to get every inch of the 167 yards that I needed. Never saw it, but the group in front of us on the 15th tee was about as excited as I have ever seen. After the round, the General Manager was kind enough to seek me out to congratulate me, and gave us a tour of the clubhouse, sharing stories of players and events. made us all feel very specisl, and finished off the best golf trip we ever had on an increadible high note!
