I was playing golf with ASGA (American Singles Golf Association) when I made my first Hole in One. It was hole #7, a Par 3 at Churchill Greens in The Villages, FL. Using the 9 iron from my new set of Titleist Clubs, the other 2 golfers in my threesome, (Mike Ashbrook and Geoff Elting) and I watched the ball hit the flag stick and drop into the cup. The foursome playing behind us and the foursome playing ahead of us (also in ASGA) heard Mike and Geoff cheering for me, came over to congratulate me. Of course getting a Hole in One was so exciting but having friends actually see it and be there to celebrate with me, made it even more special. I have been taking golf lessons from Bob Intrieri, PGA Master Professional at Palmer Legends Country Club in The Villages, FL. during the last year and purchased my new set of Titleist Clubs from him. Of course the first phone call I made was to Bob.
