The not so perfect scenario

My best friend Matt and I had gone out for our normal round. We were playing the blue tees as a result of hot wether the day before and not being able to drive a cart. So we have a par 3 that is 131 yards up hill so up hill 60 degrees up. I chose a 8 iron for my club selection and a bridgestone e6 number 2 for a ball. Matt teed off first puting it on the back left side of the fringe. Now my tee shot i lined up straight at it knowing my fade should take me just to the right of the pin. (Backswing and through) most hole in ones you think would be a damn good shot right? Well this one started left high left side and was diving straight right like a kamikaze pilot and was off the bottom grove i thinned it hard. We watched this thing curve into a middle pin placment and heard what we thought was it hitting the flag. So i was naturally just like ehh well thats gonna be lucky if im even on and im lucky to get par. Well me and matt walked up the pathway bags on back just talking and at one point i said to matt man dude im gonna be lucky if i have any kind of shot. Matt responded with well we never know till we see it at this point we were nearly at the top where we could finally see the green *no ball in sight* . Matt had mentioned on our way a hole in one and i was like no freaking way dude those dont happen especially with a shot like that. I set my bag down alittle ahead of matts grabing my 56 and putter hoping for the best while matt lumbered toward the green. I got four steps in before i saw matt look down at the hole. He never said a word he just looked at me with a goofy smile. What i asked him he bent down to the cup and picked up a ball and threw it at me i caught it in my hands dropping my clubs (it was my e6) OH MY GOD!! All bets were off and no rules of golf applied he ran over to me and bear hugged me lifting me off the ground we were high fiving just blabering "i cant belive it" "i know dude right" we gained our composer back and matt finishes the hole with a par i might add. We walked the rest of the way up to six and through our nine i was 2 over after that hole with a par 35 i finished at 41. I never kept the ball i remeber thinking a ball is a ball if i recall right i put it back in my bag on the way up grabbing another ball. No score card was framed just one hell of a story. The kicker to it all a 15 year old kid and his best friend played a round of golf and one of those kids got a hole in one off a bladed tee shot. Ironic isnt it the weather was perfect and i was with my best friend on our home course, hit one of the worst shots in golf and it just so happens its the one that went in.
