The Moment

As I stepped on to number 14 of Pine Hills Country Club, I knew that if we were able to win the hole the match would be over. I clocked the distance at 106 yards which was a perfect 9 iron. I stepped on the tee, placed my tee in the ground and positioned my ball so that I could see the words "Titleist Prov1x" staring up at me. I took a deep breathe and swung. The ball hit just in front of the green and I figured it would be a good shot. It bounced twice and continued to roll towards the hole. My group teased me as the ball kept rolling closer. It continued to roll and dropped. I fell to the ground in disarray and began to cry tears of joy because I knew that I did not only have my first Hole-In-One, but I also won the match for our team. As I stood up my mother ran over and gave me the biggest hug. It meant the world to me that I could share that moment with her as she has had 5 Hole-In-Ones herself and was my doubles partner. She always teased me about if I had a Hole-In-One it had to be with her. I will remember this moment for a lifetime.
