The best of times with my son

My foursome came to the 16th hole and they had the hole in one sign and they asked us to pay $5.00 per shot for a game called pot of gold. I paid $20.00 and the first two players each but their ball on the green. That gave us two entries into the pot of gold. It was my turn, I selected my 7 iron and hit my shot.. and then my former wrestling coach and former student-athlete yells out it is going in the hole. I could believe it. My 16 year old son was my playing partner, took off in the cart to check to see if the ball was in the hole. He stops the cart and runs up the hill to the green to check... he forgot to put the brake on and the golf cart started rolling backward towards the pond. My son runs down the hill and stops the cart by drive blocking the cart up the hill. It was in the hole. Golf History was made! Finally, since it was the Williamsville South Football Golf Outing...one of his coaches handed my son a ball and told him to throw it into the pond. I almost died.. but laughed my butt off afterwards. It was an amazing feeling but the best thing was to do this in front of my son. 8/18/18 Dande Farms -Akron, NY 16th hole - 161 yards Joe Muscarella - UB Alumni Golf Coach @ Park School of Buffalo Witnessed by: Eric Knuutila, Mickey Moran and Matthew Muscarella.
