The Hideaway at Arrington was holding its first-ever member-guest tournament. On June 23rd 2017 in the first round, four holes in we got to hole number 11. It was 151 yards with a little wind behind us and the pin was in the back right corner of the green. My partner Brent Stewart played first and hit the ball a little strong. He looked at me and advised me to club down so I pulled out a pitching wedge. This green splits two bunkers, one on the right and one on the left. I knew if I hit the ball over the right bunker that it would feed to the left and put me on the green in a good position to make par so that's just what I did and rolled in an Ace. My first one. It felt like it was supposed to. In 2003 my father passed away playing golf, no it wasn't a par 3 and no it wasn't the same course but it was hole number 11. I think he was smiling down on me and I wanted to say "Thank you Pop". Pokey Black
