Thank you, Dexter

Before my closest friend and golfing buddy Dexter passed away last September, he asked me to give his old, incomplete set of irons to another friend of mine, Bob, who collects old clubs and had expressed an interest in them. I did. Today, as my own clubs are being repaired, I asked Bob if I could borrow the set Dexter gave him, and he loaned them to me. On the 150 yard 14th hole at Village Green Golf Club, using Dexter's 3 iron and a Titleist Pro V1X golf ball, I hit a pure shot into a stiff wind and right into the cup. This has really special meaning to me because of my relationship with Dexter. He and I were old college roommates 54 years ago. He was my closest friend. We were like brothers. His death has hit me really hard. After a 35 year lay off from golf, Dexter got me back into the game 8 years ago. And now this. Thank you, Dexter. Joseph (Jed) Diachun
