St. Patty's Day Open

My buddies and I have an annual St. Patty's Day Open tournament at Kinloch in Richmond, VA for St. Patrick's Day. 8 of us head down from Chevy Chase, MD. On our first round, we head to #5 which is the first par 3 on the course. It's March so temps are in the 40's in the morning. It's only the second round of the year so expectations are modest at best. #5 is a 165 yard uphill par 3 to one of the most undulating, sloped and difficult greens on the course. I hit a perfect 6 iron with a slight draw. One of my buddies comments "flag hunting!" My ball lands 2 feet from the cup and rolls in. Everyone erupts! I ended the round shooting 78 on a difficult course. My best round ever for that early in the golf season. After the round, Kinloch presented me with the flag which all of my buddies signed. The flag is mounted in my house for endless stories to be told.
