I was in a playday and it was a speed hole on a par 3. I wasn't too excited. My partner went to the green and waited for me to hit. I told him I was using a 6 iron and was going to be short. He stood over the hole waiting for my shot. I hit it and it bounced twice then dropped in. My partner got to see up close the ball fall right in the hole. I wasn't sure what happened until over the speaker I heard that was a hole in one. Took 8.4 secs to go in. Of course I won the challenge of fastest to get the ball in the hole. There were 7 witnesses including my 4 some and 3 playday officials.
