Sometimes shivering is a good thing
By Ron G On 28 October 2013
If you live in Michigan, you are probably accustomed to playing golf when it is not all that nice outside. Today was one of those days- the high was projected to be 52, and we all know how accurate all of our local weather folks are.
If it got into the 50's, you could not tell by the amount of clothing that was being worn by me and my golfing pals. They out-layered me by wearing Long Johns, but I out played them, especially on hole 4. It was a Par 3, 175 yards, slightly downhill and into a quartering wind. I hit a 7 iron that landed about 30 inches from the pin, bit and spun left and decided that it was time to seek warmer climes.
This was my 3rd ace, the second using a Titleist ball, and one of them using an MCI Iron.
What's not to like?
Good golfing and stay warm all my Northern pals,
Ron Gallerani
