On the day of my hole in one 2/9/16 I had been playing golf for 1 year to the day. My golf partner and I decided to play at Sky Links Golf Course in Long Beach Ca. The round was going as usual struggling and hitting decent shots at the same time when it happened. Hole 16, 122 yard par 3 over water. I pulled out my 9 iron and proceeded to hit the ball. I didnt hit a great shot at all for I had caught the ball thin, the ball however was tracking to the hole. I looked at it and said to my self this could get close but also knew that thin shots usually go further than they are supposed to. It eas later in the day and shadows were on the green and the ball bounced twice, rolled and disappeared. I thought the ball went over the greeb but the group says no it went in the hole. I couldnt beleive it and I was in shock and awe if what i had done. When I got to the hole that is when it sunk in and I was extatic. That is my hole in one story.
